My musical career started when I was very young. From the age of seven I had entered and won many talent contests. At 15 I had my own band at school (The 4th Coalition) and by the age of 22 I had a three night a week residency as vocalist at the Gresham Ballroom at the Archway Road, North London.
Moving to the West Midlands in 1974, I toured the working mens clubs as vocalist with the Franklin Set
From the mid 70's to the mid 80's song writing became my passion and I completed two albums of unpublished pop songs and wrote the words and music for a childrens musical
In 1990 I started a solo career, but by 1992 I had joined a young band that was to develop into the highly successful 'Retro-Flyers' which I managed and with whom I was lead vocalist and guitarist until March 2008
